Each Light-Up Cube lasts a minimum of sixteen lighted hours. The Light-Up Cubes turn on when placed in water and automatically turn off when fully dry. Only lighted time counts against battery life. On average, each Cube should last at least 30 days.

It is very important that the Glo Pals are removed from liquid and dried when not in use. Typically, removing the pals from liquid, giving them a quick shake, and setting them out to dry will help increase their lifespan. Yes, the Glo Pals and their packaging can both be recycled.

Glo Pals exceeds all US-safety standards to ensure our products are safe for children. Non-lithium batteries are hermetically sealed inside each Light-Up Cube – keeping them airtight & safely secured. While this means our Light-Up Cubes are exceptionally safe, they can't be replaced or recharged. But our products can be recycled! To get the best GLO make sure your Glo Pals Character doesn't have any air bubbles trapped after you insert the Light-Up Cube. We recommend swishing your Pal around in the water, face down, to help remove any air bubbles and ensure the Light-Up Cube is fully saturated with water when it's time to play!
